I need some hilfe from someone familiar with Hamburg, The last years I've been taking a bus that goes all the way to Wacken, but this year me and some friends are takin a plane to Hamburg some days earlier. The questions:

- Is it far from the airport to Hamburg city?
- How do I get there?
- Where is the coolest place to get drunk there?
- How do I kill time in Hamburg (if not jst drinking)?
- Which is the cheapest way to get from Hamburg to Wacken?

I would take the bus who takes you to the Altona Station, where you can take a train to Itzehoe. Train costs about 8 euros, but there's a ticket which costs 21, that can be used by up to 5 persons.

I don't really know Hamburg, so I can't help you with the other things.

Well I've never been to Hamburg (exept on my way to wacken and that was like for 30 minutes at altona)

-No, not far, half an hour with the bus and underground. Not like Heathrow, where I always get the the feeling it lies in Cornwall.

-The Reeperbahn is the place. Open all night, alcohol, clubs, titties, bands, you name it. If you are looking for metal try the Headbanger's Ballroom at the Fischmarkt. Good places to get totally wasted on the Reeperbahn: The Lehmitz and the Clochard. Both are famous for sporting some of the most unbelievable stenches in the world in their restrooms.

-The trains from Altona Station should be quite cheap.
