CONGRATS!!! Can you talk to "Mr. Rockit"? :D

I never really smoked cigarettes much. Maybe for a short time in the '80's. Never liked the taste.

I know people who have quit other "drugs" (heroin, alcohol, etc) that say "quitting cigarettes was the most difficult of all".

My mother finally quit after being diagnosed with emphysema and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. It was much too late for her. She died in 2006 from complications from those diseases along with a surgical procedure. She would have probably been able to get through the surgery (her conscious choice to have it) if her lungs had been strong enough and not so damaged from smoking. :(

Best of luck!!

I feel pretty lucky because I never really started smoking. I've smoked plenty of weed with tobacco in, and a few straight cigarettes but never liked it enough to get addicted! I used to get a lot of passive smoke from pubs and clubs though, but now smoking is banned in all covered spaces in the UK, so it must be a bit easier for those trying to quit if everyone isn't doing it around them all the time! People still smoke in beer gardens though, so at least it helps when it's raining

Congratulations! I didn't start either. Same with alcohol and other drugs.

In the beginning there was the bet - I won it.
Then it was just habit - and finally it was a way of life.

Well guys, I failed :(
I know, Dong was still a bridge too far for me, Wacken was "onbegonnen werk". (something you know you can't do (yet))

But..... I'm not a "quitter" I won't give up.
So... I start again. Just wanted to do this for the festival(s), maybe more luck next year during my festival season. (GMM?, Dong, WOA)

I'm to blame.
