yes, it is.... I planned to give an example... but hardly could remember some expressions..

in english it´s "bow wow" for a dog´s sound??? isn´t it?
in german we say: "wau wau" or sometimes "wuff"

big dogs go "woof woof!" and middle sized dogs go "arf! arf!" and little dogs go "yapyapyapyap!" hehe!

I've got a small dog...a little cairn terrier. But he's big enough so that he sounds like a REAL dog and not a broken toy, hehe.
