A week off form the work, yes good, but beign too comfortable.. well.. I havee seen people get depressed after Wacken..

1 week of fun and then 51 of sad faces...

Well, that's a problem, but one I can't do anything about, so I don't see any use getting depressed about it...

Imho, depressive state is the problem of people who bother about thing that don't really concern them or that they can't do anything about... So you rummage thing around in your head, and since you can't do anything you get in a blacker and blacker mood...

My way with things is simple:
1) I've got a problem and I cand something to correct it: I do what is needed and resolve it.
2) I've got a problem and I can't do anything about it: I don't get all worked up. I just put it away and let life go on.

The most difficult part in this is knowing which is which, and not "put away" things I could correct.

But overall it works like a charm... And I'm always a happy metalhead :)

Good system! Though I'd add a third option: 3) You've got a problem, and it's something you can correct, but it can also wait, because you have more pressing issues to deal with.

Sort of like how medics at a disaster site do triage...they separate the people who need medical help immediately, the people who are beyond help and are going to die anyway, and the people who need help but can wait.
