maybe 2 or 3 in central london...
1 or 2 in west london...
just grab a few beers from tesco and drink it outside the venue
just remeber we do have gay alcohol laws...some areas your not allowed to drink on the streets..and if you make too much noise- youll get arrested and released next day

I don't know any around Hammersmith though...We have even worse alcohol laws in Norway, so that would not be any problem...

Club Distortion
This is the Terrorizer magazine club that is supposed to happen every second Friday. It's a large venue with several rooms. The main room plays Black & Death Metal. This is a pretty new place and nobody ever seems to know when it's happening - so check the web site or Terrorizer Magazine for details. Normally open from 10.30 to 06.00 but they cannot serve alcohol after 02.00.

This is probably London's longest running and most successful alternative club night. Taking place every Friday night at the Electric Ballroom, it has three floors with different music – and on the first floor it´s Metal and Heavy Rock.

Garlic & Shots
This Swedish place has a cool basement bar where Metal people gather on Friday/Saturday/Sunday night. They play Rock/Metal and they will play ANY Metal CD you bring! Many different types of vodka shots to try! You might find Metallers there during the week too - especially in the Summer. Usually serves alcohol until 01.00 – sometimes later.

Subterranean Hellnoise Club, The Marlborough Head
This is one of the 'Eerie' chain of pubs which are Bram Stoker theme pubs. All very gothic inside. This club happens in the basement on a Saturday night from 19.00 to 23.00 when the pub closes. It's the only regular night in London where you will hear Extreme Metal. It's got a really nice atmosphere and some interesting drinks too. The music is very good. They seem to have a Traditional Heavy Metal night on Sunday during the same hours.

A nice and very atmospheric club. IIt´s one of London's premier venues, hosting both live music and clubs. Sometimes they have Metal bands playing there.

On the penultimate Saturday of each month, DJs Adam and Matt play your fave Metal tunes, old and new. Bar 'til midnight, 3 minute walk from tube station in town centre, located across the road from the venue that hosts the annual Uxfest.
