Hi there!

I have a serious problem, me and some friends want to put up some flags, but we don't know how we should put the flagpole in to the ground.
(Last year we had to hold the flagpole to keep it from falling over)

Any tips?

Stick it far enough into the ground (about 2 feet... maybe dig a hole :D ) and then attach at least 3 guy ropes to it, preferrably 4.

I want to get a flag too, (last year I was stumbling around drunk for 4 hours in the rain trying to find my bastard tent) but I can't think of anything long enough for a flag pole... ;)

I got a telescopic flag pole for this year so its a LOT easier to carry, the way you put this up is you use two groundspikes (1 metre long) and put them about 30 cm into the ground, then slide the flag pole over the top of them.
