First time at Wacken

Hello, we're a group of French people who usually go to Hellfest, but this year we're going to Wacken for the first time.

I had a few questions:
- What's the difference between the Campground and the Camper Park?

- Is it better to use the campsite with a regular tent or sleep in a tent next to the car?

- If we arrive on Monday evening, is there a long walk between the tent and the festival?

How much do the showers cost?

- Can we use cashless payment for the showers?

Is the Wacken Village far from the festival grounds on foot?

What's the difference between the Campground and the Camper Park?

The Campground is the normal camping ground, you come with your car and park it directly next to the tent. No reservations can be made, it's impossible to say, at which location your campground is. No extra costs, you have only to pay tghe fee for the car (33€ or 66€, depending on the type of car).

If we arrive on Monday evening, is there a long walk between the tent and the festival?

This can not be predicted, depends on the exact time, luck and extraterrestrial influences

How much do the showers cost?

- Can we use cashless payment for the showers?

At the moment, nothing, I hope and think, that this will be the case in 26, too!

Is the Wacken Village far from the festival grounds on foot?

It depends on the position of your camping place, the faster you're in the village, the slower you're at the Holy Ground, roughly said, 20 minutes?

Comme j'ai fait les 2, je sais comparer.

Le camping de Hellfest est vachement plus petit que celui de Wacken. Du coup les distances sont aussi plus grandes. Surtout quand on peut planter sa tente à côté de la voiture.

Comme dit avant, tout dépend d'où tu vas te retrouver. Vu que vous arriverez « tards », vous risquerez d'avoir es grosses distances entre vos places et le Wacken Plaza.
