Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have issued the following update:
"We're now confirmed to appear at MG Live Hall in Beijing on January 11, 2008. Needless to say, we're very much looking forward to our first-ever live performance in China.
"The shows in Hellas this weekend went great, and the Greek audience was (as usual) nothing short of fantastic. Also, huge thanks to Mr. Johan Edlund of TIAMAT for lending his vocal chords to 'Misery's Crown' in Thessaloniki. It was the first time that we've had a guest musician onstage, and it was truly a memorable event."
Metalzone.gr has posted a review of DARK TRANQUILITY's November 4, 2007 concert in Athens, Greece. Check it out at this location (includes low-quality fan-filmed video footage).
DARK TRANQUILLITY 's new album, "Fiction", was released in April via Century Media Records. The CD was mixed by Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) and "encompasses all of the elements on which the band built their career: thought-provoking lyrics, shredding guitar work, captivating melodies and sheer brutality," according to a press release.
