Wow, what an incredible journey! Do you remember who the band member was that biked to the festival? I biked from Munich to Rostock and then on to Denmark and Norway. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to Nordkapp because I had to return to Brazil for work. I hope I get a chance to complete the trip in the future!

Nice to see other people also riding to Wacken. First time to Wacken and first bike packing with tent (not counting some multi day rides) super excited and looking forward to the day. Have fun!

but I won't be attending in 2025 - first time with no ticket since 2003

I go for a short bike ride depending on the weather. By train to the city Stade, then cycle to the ferry. Take the ferry across the Elbe to Glückstadt and then another 2 hours or so to Wacken, I'd say.
