Every time you want a new glass you need to pay the deposit, but if you bring an empty glass back you get the deposit back.

Yes, if you bring the glass back you don't have to pay for the deposit again.

You do need to pay for one more beer though


The glass comes in 30 cl and 1 liter versions.

One litre will cost €6! An ordinary beer about €2.50 to €3

It's 3 small to big one, so the bigger would probably be cheaper in the end.

However the deposit on the big one is 3 euro or something.

Just to clear things up with this deposit, after i've used it I take it back and get the deposit back?

Me mum said we use to have the deposit thing in UK about 20 years ago, I still didn't understand/get the point in the whole system tho :S

Yes, as long as you still have a whole cup and bring it back, you get your money back.

It does, and several different types, got 7 small ones and one big here at home

in uk the average beer 5% which is piss pathetic tbh

In NL the average % is also 5%. In Belgium it's 5.5%, in Germany it varies between 4.5% and 5.5%, depending on the beer you take. (and it's all "Pils" I'm talking about)

For the size: One gallon equals aprox. 2.5 litres.
0.75 L = 26.4 FL OZ.
