Hey guys. This is my first time to Wacken, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a cheap tent to buy from anywhere near the festival area. Is there a camping store?

though it's a good idea to reserve your stuff first at metaltix.com
make sure that they don't send it your way but that you can pick it up in the wacken headquarters.

The actual headquarters isn't even in Wacken, but in Dörpstedt.
I think AP meant the W:O:A info office. That's in the main road ("Hauptstraße") in Wacken.

If you want a cheap tent, you better buy one before you make your trip to Wacken. In Wacken area everyhting is really expensive!

the tents with the Wacken logo cost 35 euros...that's not cheap, but quite OK for somebody who doesn't want to carry loads of camping stuff from airport to airport.
