well yes, as far as I know camcorders are forbidden at the festival's, but these days almost everybody is using digital cameras and I daresay that 90% of these digital cameras can also make films... so I would be kinda bad if they said "no digital cameras with camcorder function"... that would suck and I'd put my hand into the fire that nobody will ask you to leave your digital camera at home.
