Anwynn is a Symphonic Death Metal band from Belgium, born in 2009 from the ashes of Arawn.
Anwynn mixes death metal riffs with lyrical vocals, massive orchestras and lyrics influenced by celtic mythology.
In 2010, we released our first demo EP, "Newydd Wawr".
The same year, Anwynn played at the Metal Female Voice VIII Festival with bands such as Skeptical Minds, Krypteria, Leave's Eyes, The Agonist, Epica and Arch Enemy.
This show was a real turnover in the band's popularity.
Since then, we signed with French label "M&O Music" and our first studio album "Forbidden Songs" has been released on April 23rd 2012.
Anwynn will play at MFVF X on October 20th 2012 with Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy, Delain, Arkona and many more!
