Erdinger? Cool! I'll look around for a US distributor. There's a great store near me for imported brews - they've got a whole wall of German beers so I'm a little at a loss for what to pick. :D

@ Sulm - we've got some damn good microbrews here...made by those fine, few Americans who give a shit about good beer. :D You have a guide though...only some of them are good, many are unfortunately pretentious shite run by amateurs. :(

Weeping Radish in North Carolina and Victory Beer (run by two guys who trained in Munich) near Philadelphia are both excellent though.

i even had some wheat-beer in auckland/NZ....wasn´t too bad..

but wait for wacken...i´ll bring some fine southern german beer with me;)
