I'm assuming you meant the 1800s and not the 1900s. 19th century = 1800s.

I prefer the 20s. They were a time when there was peace in Europe after the wars. The 50s were pretty bad becasue everyone was all angry about the 1848 revolutions and were cracking down on metalheads everywhere.

In the USA also, because the 50s were when everyone knew the Civil war was coming.

The 50s were not a good time.
