Got sacked? New job?
I work IT. We all work on contracts - no one hires full time IT people here. My contract is ending today. The negotiations have been underway for a while to get a new contract in place without a break in work but they have failed to do this so I will be off for a couple of weeks and then if I am lucky enough to be invited back I will come back here for another year or 2. If not, I will take off the summer, go to Wacken and worry about a job when I come back. I have a TON of things to do around the house so I am actually very happy to have time off to do them

Ah, ok.
I don't know how IT works nowadays, but I do know there are more unemployed than there are jobs available.

Indirectly however.....
One of the reasons there'll be a big manifestation next Thursday in Brussels (once again!) And I'll be there.
