Happens on a daily basis at work... usually hourly. 
Actually, I bet if magically everyone would not only not be offended by sarcasm, but thought it was funny too, I'd get a raise within the week for excellent customer service for voicing the sarcasm in my head.

Same.
But I don't think it's even that big of a deal. The way I see it, joking about something doesn't diminish it at all. So for say Holocaust jokes, there are some good ones, but that doesn't mean the actual thing was any less horrible. (And yes, it goes both ways, I laugh at good Christianity-related jokes too)

People just get offended too easily in general. If they didn't, well, there'd be more of this.

I've said it before (not sure if I've said it here or not), but I'mg going to say it again. I love my mind 
My train of thought went onto mustaches so I consulted google to try and describe some facinating facial hair (of a gentleman who worked at a railway station in Hamburg) to a friend. Long story short the cartoon drawing of the mustache demos looks exactly like the guy. It's just missing the black, red and gold coloured beads he had keeping his beard neat and tidy
