Post-lunch customers were crap today. A couple grumpy people, plus...

*on the phone*
"Hello, do you have a, um, small, um, small thing, for a, um, small thing... hello? Are you there?''
"Yes?"
"Hello, do you have a, um, small, um, small thing, for a, um, small thing... hello? Are you there?''
"...yes..."
"Do you have a, um, small, um, small thing, for an, um, small thing..."
*I hang up*

Strong accent, talked REALLY slowly and there was a line of people waiting on me. I never hung up on anyone before, but the annoyance + customers waiting + him NEVER GETTING TO THE POINT I just gave up.

Also the customer I helped after that was REALLY fricken slow too at talking to be about tablets and then buying one. After all that it felt like it'd been slow motion... seriously...

Well that was an interesting end to my shift.

Someone fell. Someone who'd apparently just had back surgery. His friend went looking for help and I happened to be the one he found. Called management really quick and went over. Not that I could do much other than get him water. But I watched the whole thing, up until an ambulance came and he got carted away on one of those thingies. It was pretty interesting.

Hope he's okay though. Apparently his leg suddenly went numb on him and so he fell. Looked to be in a decent amount of pain. Funny thing is, he said he tried to grab onto a shelf to keep him from falling, and knocked some stuff off. He actually apologized for it.

Oh, forgot to mention, someone also cut their hand badly enough on glass (a worker) she had to go to the hospital as well. There I didn't see her cut it, but I was in the break room where they were trying to stop the bleeding.

Did some photocopying, accidentally pressed '2 to 2 sided' and stapled instead of '1-2 sided', so I decided I'd place it in the confidential waste bin on the way back to my office.

Later that morning someone comes in with said papers and says "these were in the mail box, I don't know where the originals are" and I was like "wtf who put these in the mail box???" then realised what I'd done

That was just one example, but probably the most shameful
