I know the feeling By 9am I felt like I'd finished all of my work and I wanted to go home. Then slowly through the day more people kept ringing to ask fairly urgent questions that couldn't wait for my supervisor to return and answer the question properly. I hate it when that happens

I hate it when people ask to speak to a supervisor and they take so long to get here I have to call for them several times.

Since I decided to just work in my own speed and let some things wait until we actually have time for them I feel a bit better.

That's always the best way. Honestly, if you worry about how much you have to do all the time you just end up burning out or giving yourself a heart attack!

my not girlfriend came over after all, and again I'm clueless about where this is going... half of the time she wasn't even watching true blood but just lay in my arms "looking" the other way with her eyes closed.

Save yourself the trouble and don't worry about it. Just enjoy it. If you are still doing this in about 3 months THEN you can maybe have that conversation She's probably trying to figure it out herself!

We're gonna have a little carnival celebration in advance at our neighbours' place at the weekend. 'tis just cause at the weekend where carnival would be normally, none of us has got any time.

That's a good idea! Who knows, maybe other people will join in You could end up with a big block party!
