And unfortunately it's very likely I'm going to have to choose which to go to, at the expense of the other.
Going to work means I miss school. Probably not just for one or even two days. Next week is having the same problem and if it doesn't get fixed in time like it's not right now, it'll be the same story. I know from experience that every day in a particular class is crucial and if you get behind, you're lost till you catch up (that's why I had to drop it last semester).
Going to school is a major risk. If I just skip work without it being confirmed by management, I'm probably in big trouble. Being fired is definitely a possibility. But I mainly got the job to pay for school, so if I miss school because of it, it's defeating the purpose. I feel like I could likely get a job fairly soon now given my experience, so it might not be the end of the world to get fired.
