My usual response to that would be "Then lay your head on the keyboard and do nothing" but I don't think that advice would be practical considering you're being paid to do stuff...

well there's nobody around to check, except my colleague, so I could do it.
but than again... that will only mean we'll have more stuff to do next week.

:uff: I know the feeling. Kind of reminds me of work today actually. I was on my own and yesterday my supervisor encouraged me to go home early if I got everything done (we both thought it was possible). Wrong...so wrong :uff: I didn't even really start on archiving the closed 2012 files, but at least we've done everything up to R. The worst bit was I couldn't just stop one task and move onto another, more exciting job because everything I had to do today was so mind-numbing I got a headache :o

we're just building up a massive amount of e-mails and tickets because we only find time to take phonecalls... so we have a lot to do next week anyway. it's just so frustrating to see the mailbox explode, just because I know we have to do it some day...
