people are getting ready for the xmas diner tonight, but of course my department has to work until 5 before we can go...

maybe I just skip the diner all together. don't feel like celebrating anything anyway.
if they'd hire enough people I'd have a reason to celebrate something.

That was an interesting turn of events! I went to my friend's place for afternoon tea. Then she starts getting ready to go to a rave...next thing I know I'm borrowing one of her outfits and we're heading out together!

We got back to her place after 3am and I slept in the back room until a bit before 9am. I didn't wake up to the sunshine, nor the birds singing, nor her 2 year old crying/calling out...but her ducks shouting because they wanted to go for a wonder around the yard Her daughter didn't like it too much when I started to fall asleep while we tried to watch Thor together. To be fair though I didn't either (Chris Hemsworth *drools*).

My verdict on the rave:

Cons: the only way I could tell the tracks apart were when they progressively got faster as the evening went on, and some had borrowed tunes from well known songs.

Pros: There was a "kandi corner" where they had some lounges and coffee tables with elastic string and containers of beads. I walked out of the rave with 3 beaded bracelet things; two of which were placed there by complete strangers.

So wearing them to work One of them reads "smile" and collectively they make my left wrist look less lonely

Judging by tonight's activities, music choice and attire it doesn't look like I can handle too much dance music, girly clothes and a lot of company.
