But why would you need a bigger wallet? The risk of loosing all that money is a waste on its own!

I'd prefer just the "more money" part.

This is true. Really the only 'money' I take most of the time is my bank card thus no extra space is required. I will usually only have a small amount of real cash for emergencies or in case places will not take bank cards which is quite rare here.

Too bad it's sometimes more difficult to pay electronically in BE (especially with a Dutch account!!!), but that's getting better day by day!
And the same in NL. Even though I can't pay with a BE card!

Just a bigger bank account. Or more of them with LOTS of $$$/€€€/¥¥¥ on it/them.
Better would be CHF(s)

That's the problem I have when travelling. Almost every place here will accept a bank card but when we went to Europe last summer we found it hard to pay with anything but cash.

Better with a credit card.

You can get those on a pre paid version as well. You put $$ on them, and can spend it here.
