Yeah this seems to be the normal thing. Even with people who live in the USA, they live in tiny 'states' compared to the size of our 'provinces' - mine is the size of half of Europe and a 3 - 5 hours drive is 'normal' when you want to go to another city - yet I mention having to drive that distance to some people and they can't understand it. If you drive 5 hours in Europe you could probably go through 3 countries![]()
), Liège (Belgium), Maastricht (Netherlands) to Germany. That makes 5.
Now I'm getting flashbacks of my first "tour". We were on the road for just over 24 hours and hadn't left the state yet.
I WOULD do it IF I had a lot of money![]()
I'd need more than that amount of time to travel there and back, then get over jetlag. Wouldn't be worth it for me...at all.I WOULD do it IF I had a lot of money![]()
It's not abnormal here. It takes about 6 days to go across the country here. Ontario (the widest province) takes 2 days to cross.
You can easilly do 5. From Nancy (France) to Hamburg, through Luxemburg (CHEAP gas/petrol and tobacco/alcohol), Liège (Belgium), Maastricht (Netherlands) to Germany. That makes 5.
