I just can't see going to Europe and only staying for 3-4 days :(

And you'd be either only travelling, and not see anything at all, or stuck to one place.

But... if you'd live here, you wouldn't easilly be going abroard either! Trust me!
Regardless of how big/small your coutry would be, you'd consider the other side to be 'far'. (except if you'd live near the border)

Look at Nemesiss, who already thinks that Tilburg is on the other side of the country! And from Haarlem (close by where she lives) it's only 2hrs, maybe 2.5hrs!

Yeah this seems to be the normal thing. Even with people who live in the USA, they live in tiny 'states' compared to the size of our 'provinces' - mine is the size of half of Europe and a 3 - 5 hours drive is 'normal' when you want to go to another city - yet I mention having to drive that distance to some people and they can't understand it. If you drive 5 hours in Europe you could probably go through 3 countries :p

That's what everyone thinks about where I live, so I don't invite people over to visit. If someone feels the need to visit, I'll certainly let them, but that hasn't happened in a very long time.

Now I'm getting flashbacks of my first "tour". We were on the road for just over 24 hours and hadn't left the state yet.
