I heard actually from a friend of mine who is very heavily tattoo'd that it is not well received in Germany. She had a very different experience in Munich and that area than my boyfriend and I had when we went. Apparently the tattoos caused issues.

If I get all my tattoos done and I wear closed shoes and a long sleeve shirt you won't see any of my tattoos. But besides that, I really don't give a rats arse what other people think of me. And if they stare I just start pulling funny faces

Yes, I agree - I vote we all get to win! We want to be able to bring our son there too but he is still a bit young to appreciate it yet. Maybe in another 10 years.

but that's everywhere. When you are "not normal" you will have people staring at you. It's just some places people know how to hide it where other places people just stare at you openly. It's the small mindedness wich (too bad) still is the standard.
