So today I did some job hunting. Went to two of the Walmarts closest to here. Both said they weren't hiring at the moment except for possible seasonal/temp positions. One of them though I actually got to talk with one of the main managers about it who said she'd take me in a heartbeat if she had a spot open. So I'll try again there in a couple months. Plus then I'll be able to do an actual transfer. 
I went to Verizon too - both to check out what the smartphone I want looked like, and to see if they were hiring. Turns out they are, and I got the name and number of someone who I guess is in charge of that. But he also said that the pay is based entirely on commission. And that's not what I want. So oh well.

Took a valiant effort to not do it when the managers were within eyesight.
I own about 5 pairs..not a big shoe person. I have runners, hiking boots, combat boots and 2 pairs of 'girly' heels which I don't wear a lot as I prefer comfortable shoes.
