The problem with French and "Canadian".

You have experienced it then.

Did you know that Québec films in France are subtitled? Otherwise no one can make sense of it.

And we have different words here. (I live in Wallonia = French Belgium)
I'd never use "gosse" in Canada, it's got a COMPLETELY different meaning there. (Gosse in Europe = Child/Kid!!!)

Besides that, in Belgium we say "septante" for 70 and "nonante" for 90. The French don't understand that either. (The Swiss do)

Oh yes, I know exactly what you mean. I took French in school - proper French and when I moved here I found that it did not help me at all.

In Italian your numbers work for me..Settanta (70) and Novanta (90) - I would understand.

Wb Alix!

That is really a much better system. At least you can know if you are hiring someone who does not like to work very much. Do they have social assistance in Germany?
I disagree.

For someone with a physical problem (handicap or whatever) (s)he is discriminated because it does not give him (her) the freedom to either tell it seperately or not. (to my opinion that is)

But there's everything for both ways. Though I wouldn't base myself on the gaps someone has (not).
Well, it was my last place to visit (if you don't count my 1 night stop over in Italy before actually coming home). :D

I know. I was there the 1st and last day. ;)

We didn't try French in Canada at all. (even though my brother-in-law, his wife, my wife and my sister-in-law and her husband are French speaking)
Except for me. (but I'm Dutch:D)

Oh I agree too if someone has a reason but unfortunately there are too many people (more in US than here ) that can work and have nothing wrong but they only don't want to and instead expect that people give them assistance because they can't find work (even when they do not look)

And now, time to get ready for work and hate life because 5 hours sleep

Wait until you get old. I am lucky to have 5 hours of sleep a night :( I hope it isn't to bad for you!
