Back home now. The flight from Venice to Dubai wasn't too bad, though it would have been better if I'd beat others to a spare row of 4 seats and slept properly there. The flight from Dubai to Brisbane was horrendous. It was almost full (Auckland passengers as well as Brisbane) so it was a squishy, uncomfortable ride. I got an aisle seat so I could get up whenever I wanted but I also had to move when the couple sitting next to me wanted to get up too. So far the jetlag isn't too bad, but I say give it time. I think I'll be good to go for Monday. If not, I'll just go home early or something.
