The question is, what will you do next year, or in 2 years?

(I might actually consider going in 2014, 25th Wacken)

Realistically a visit every 2 years is still possible. If I went every year I'd have no savings left I think. I'm thinking next year I might visit family/friends in other cities, or something simple like that. Hard to say what festivals I will do (or won't do) because no doubt I'll want to do the same ones again but at the same time I'd like to check out others.
