I did run away in fact! My friend from Sydney was in town and she insisted I join her for pancakes Then just when I was walking back to the car park I bumped into a group of girlfriends I hadn't seen in ages and they insisted that I join them in a bar and sit there pretending to enjoy the tunes (i.e. sit at a round table and wave our arms around as if we were dancing) and checking out everyone's costumes Didn't get home until 1am.
