On another note what is it with people who can't call me by my right name?? So annoying. They just 'assume' that I have shortened it from a 'common' longer version. This might be the case for a lot of people but it is not for me. It's the height of disrespect in my eyes.. If I say "my name is Pat" then why call me "Patricia"..

. Karin (dutch version of Karen) and it gets shortend to K, Ka, Kaar and in England Kas. I listen to all of them btw

It's a common name here but because I am Italian my name is actually Pasqualina, I go by 'Pat' to make it easy for people so I get annoyed when they then change it.

that's not only disrespectfull, it weird too...
I always call people by the name they introduced themselfs with... unless I forgot their name... than I just go, hey you there
