So I think my work schedule issue will be resolved. The evil manager wasn't here today so I talked to one of the upper managers about it who said she'd take care of it. Luckily for me, I found out that that manager is the replacement for the old manager (who I liked) over my department and some others. And she's awesome. She's actually newer to Walmart than I am (started from an internship) by a few days and asks me for help fairly often. But I like her a lot.

On the other hand, there's this coworker of mine who's been getting on my nerves. Ironically she's one of the first people I liked when I started because she was nice when the others didn't really like me much. But I'm starting to realize that though she's somewhat friendly and nice (when she doesn't have a reason not to be, at least), she's probably the most selfish and inconsiderate person I've ever met. She takes breaks that are twice as long as they're supposed to be, wanders off to who knows where just because she feels like it, and overall tries to avoid working.

Today was a new low for her though. We got swamped with customers while I was doing a contract. After we finally get everyone taken care of, she says she's going to get returns from the front. I take care of some more people and then decide to go on break since it's been three hours into my shift already (we're supposed to go about every two hours). But I can't. Why? Because she did. Even though she got to work an hour after I did. And I know she did that on purpose. So I had to wait another half hour or so. 4hrs into my 4.5hr shift I finally got a break.

But in other news, the contract I did was pretty cool. It was a phone that was announced at the same time as mine was and is very similar to it in many ways. So it was cool to get a feel for it.
