The difference is mainly the size of the room.

Location played a big part too. The 3* in Würzburg was comparable to the 4* in Brussels with regards to the room size, minibar and breakfast.

Having said that though, the 2* I where I stayed in Kings Cross in London cooked up a full English breakfast for their guests and had clean rooms (although very tiny, but I only stayed overnight). In Finsbury Park where I stayed the first time, the shower was mouldy and breakfast choices were cereal and toast...who rates these places I don't now *shakes head*

Moin! I will help the spamming by not answering all the posts in one big one! 142 a day is not many between us. Hope everyone had a good night! *hands out coffee and sandwiches / muffins*

I did some quick calculations to figure out how to get to 70k at a steady pace. If we average ~192 posts per day or more, we will make it. Starting from 1st August this year, at this pace we should have reached nearly 14800 posts by yesterday. If we concentrate on spamming well, we can prove Q wrong again next year :ugly:

I love proving Q wrong... I will keep trying my best during the week

yeah well.. for me it's a good thing this job is ending. It's the kick in the butt I need to actually do summit about my situation (being in a shit job that makes me absolutly missrable only to make sure I can pay rent).

That sounds like me. I will stay in a horrible job sometimes just because it IS a job and at least I can pay my bills. Thankfully I am happy with my job now (only the pay could be better). I am semi-looking for something that pays better but haven't really put too much effort to it yet. I have until March 2013 before this contract expires so I am not in a hurry yet.

I think I figured out how to spread my holidays out without going half-pay. I think it might mean working 1 day before I leave and returning to work half way through the week I come back. I figured if they're not supposed to cover ADO's then my reliever can just work 4 days a week for 5 weeks and that would totally work. Now I just have to discuss this with my boss and hope for the best. I noticed 2 other ladies are taking a block of holidays at the same time so I hope I don't get denied. Bah I could probably find a decent replacement myself anyway...

The system how man stars given for wich standart id different from country to country.
and if a hotel got no stars IT have nothing to say exept they don,'t want to be rated .Because you have to pay for it.
