Today all the morons were on the road.

A couple counts of people walking along the side of the road in if-I'm-just-an-inch-over-the-line-you're-dead distance. About twice the usual counts of general tailgating, not using turn signals, risky driving, etc general stupidity. Icing on the cake: someone making a left turn so close to me I had to brake hard - and get this - the car had a huge dent right on the spot I'd have hit him in, making me believe that's happened before.

And then the cherry on top: Three cars speeding past me on the interstate, weaving around traffic, and then one of them made a move to literally knock the other off the road (but not quite, he just switched lanes inches in front of the other to overtake him). It was like something out of a video game. It was actually seriously scary.

Sometimes I think if you took the worst 50% of drivers in the country off the road, the world would be a much better place.
