If I could find a job in Australia I would be over there right now... or New Zealand... I would love to go there... dreamsdreams...

About 3 years ago I decided to move away from Finland when kids are bit older. Now I am about a year away from that and also have someone to go to so it is starting to feel real and soon I really have to start planning it and not just dreaming.

though it might be getting harder to move somewhere else atm, because of the high unemployment and stuff...

In Finland you will have your health care for a year no matter where you live (at least in EU countries) unless you are working full time in some other country. Unemployment money you can get for 3 months no matter where you live (at least in EU) but after that nothing so you have to have some other way to support yourself after that. So I guess it is bit easier for us than it was for you. :)

Oh and in Finland you don't really have to have permanent address and still you have free health care and you can get unemployment money.
Woha! That's different yeah!

Start planning!
First and "easy" thing you can do: Learn German. ;)

And orient yourself a bit more. One never knows how a cow can catch a hare. ;)
