I've been living with an asthma patient for more than a decade and I still smoke. I just adapt. (e.g. outside now)

That's how I started quitting. Because I had to start going outside to smoke and its hella cold here in winter

It frigging cold here too in winter. Nonetheless, I continued. But less, that's true. It's not so tempting to go outside with -10°C outside, or while it rains.

I was also gaming hard core at the time and the desire to actually get up from my computer, go upstairs, and get dressed to go outside to smoke wasn't very strong LOL

I never undress, until I go to bed. Just for those cases..

And I have 2 places I can smoke. Either in the garden, or on our balcony upstairs.

Well I don't 'undress' but I don't wear enough clothing inside the house in winter time to go outside in. So I have to still put on at least a coat (usually more). The balcony is probably a good winter area. You may even be able to put a small shelter out there to keep out of the wind anyway
