how good is your sustained blast beat?

It's really awful. Could never get fast, but shove stupid time signatures in front of me - no problem. I often manage to play ambidextrous in a range of beats. When I actually was in a band, very often I'd swap limbs to save one limb from getting tired and keeping track of riff repeats :o

So yeah, I thought Opeth's Windowpane would make a good warm-up song, but couldn't keep the beat to save myself :o Then I tried mid-paced single strokes and that was really bad too. That's what I get for not practising :o

I woke-up a couple of times too, very annoying.

any specific reason for you? big test today or something else that kept your mind occupied?

Being sick. Not being able to breathe well because of congestion combined with fever combined with who knows what else.

I'll have a nap once I get home. Hopefully that'll work out better.
