Best, Nederland. Jetzt Belgien
More like around Düsseldorf, but yea.

Switzerland has the best government/social policies. And it's German-speaking (partially).

Then picking somewhere within Swissland - Zürich's a big city, in the German-speaking part, near the Alps, good quality of life (one of the highest worldwide).

The US is going bad, and Canada and Europe are worse. :o

Switzerland is the only decent country that's relatively sane. :p

You do know you're American, and it's by far NOT easy to become a Swiss citizen? Therefore you are outside when it comes to voting. And I can't imagine that the Swiss will let anybody into their country that easilly. Even from Europe and the US. But it is a nice country!

But Schwitzerdüütsch isn't German. It's like Zürichdeutsch. You won't be able to understand Baseldeutsch. (or Churdeutsch, Oltendeutsch, St. Moritzdeutsch, Davosdeutsch, Berndeutsch, Genfdeutsch, oh wait, that's French :D:D:D)

I never said it'd be easy. I never even said I wanted to. :p I just said that if I did move anywhere to Europe, I'd want to go there.

And I know it's a different dialect, and though I'd like to move somewhere with more "pure" German, it's not that important. :p

But they are talking "Schweizerdeutsch" and you'll not able to understand it. They'll understand you, right...
I like Zürich. I like Switzerland anyway.
