Makes me glad that I absolutely love heat.
Can't say the same about cold though. I really have to go back, even if it's just for the sauna.

Don't forget online tickets are NOMINATIVE, you need an ID (and I warn you, it needs to be a small plastic what the controller can check!
And you've got "Zugbindung", meaning you HAVE to take that particular train. (EC/IC/ICE trains)
BTW. What are #4 to 1 of the 9 foreign words the English desperately needs?
I have a plastic ID, I'll have to renew it prior to my trip though. I doubt they'd accept an expired American ID card. Plus, if it's expired I'd have to use my passport to buy beer when I come home.

If you have a credit card, you can use that.
But check www.bahn.com. I use my Belgian ID now, as I cannot use my Dutch passport. It won't accept it.

I hate cold weather so I definetly live in a wrong country. Myabe I will change that some day.
The ones in swimming halls aren't great but better than nothing. And there are some other good things here too but I can't remember anything but music and sauna right now
