Hmm. It turns out that I was mistaken about the job my best friend accepted in Canberra...it is in fact permanent. The job she scored 2 weeks before was local but temporary. Now she's just waiting for the floods in New South Wales to clear before she drives down with a relative. I still say she's mad and should have just booked a flight down
