Commutes like that aren't such a big deal in Australia. It's a nothing to fly down to Sydney or Melbourne for an international gig, or for the weekend. Only problem is...it's Canberra. Nothing but cold weather and federal parliament.

If you live in a small country, where you pass the border in LESS than 2hrs, that's considered far. Especially if such distance(s) have to be done by plane.

I don't see myself flying from Charleroi to Antwerp for instance. That'd be rediculous. (to give an impression)

I know, but there really isn't very much between the major cities here. I'm sure I've said it before but it's why I advise against ever driving up the coast of Queensland. It fucking sucks there's nothing anywhere past Gympie at the most!
