I don't either get the problem(s)... I don't care about the moving of some topics, I'm using the forum in another way. (Button "new posts").

Smileys: Mhhh okay... Not really the nicest smileys. IMO the old ones are okay, no one needs new smileys.

Pics in the talk are great! On the one side, you don't have to post annoying links. One the other side: If some user are going to post only pics, it will be annoying and confusing.

Private Messages: Every User can save 500 Messages. That's cool!

About PN's, I didn't notice! Thanks!

For the rest, I reckon it's no big deal. And everyone has to decide for him/herself whether they use it or not.

But to nag about it....

Day off tomorrow, I have to renew my license.

But that's the problem. The forum doesn't change since ages....so, everyone or a lot of ppl are pissed now. But I guess, it's like Facebook. When FB changed something, everyone "nagged" (???) about it at first. But after a while, no one can remember the old style. so what?! It will be the same here. Maybe

Yep, that's why I'm doing it on my day off. I hope it doesn't cost too much; long story short my current license expires pretty soon, and I'm eligible for my open license in a few months.

Secondment = work a different job within the company for a period of time (e.g. while someone is on holidays, maternity leave, etc.) and I get my old job back at the end.

i don't know if this is typically German, or not, but in the German part, they're all nagging about the changes made here.

OK, I have to admit it, some things were better left untouched. But nagging about smileys, pics that can be enbedded in the Talk etc....

Maybe Careo or Sipy can shed some light here? (I am not sure about the ortographe of 'shed')

Not sure what the big deal is. I kinda like the pics thing. And more smileys can't hurt. I know some people were annoyed about moving the festival threads, but I don't really care. Is there something else?
