I visited Belgium just 2 times...at a festival. So I don't know anything about food there too.

Well, trust me, Belgian cuisine is one of the best in the world. Basis is French, but better and more 'common'.

Well exactly. When I visited Europe in 2010 I put on 5kg in 7 weeks. My first beer in probably 7 months was outside Itzehoe train station, and well you can figure out the rest

It's an old cole mine city. The mine industry has totally collapsed, and Charleroi has lost lots of its jobs. As a consequence, most people are unemployed, and the city hasn't done much to make it attractive. But that's changed now. The city wants to become a blooming center of the region. Though much needs to be done...
