What's happening?

My family and I went to a mexican restaurant for dinner as it's my brother's birthday today. I ordered the Nachos because I figured it wouldn't be a huge meal. I was wrong. I got about a quarter of the way through the plate and started to feel full. I shared some of it with my dad and slowly tried to clear my plate but to no avail. Then there was a birthday cheese cake when we got home.

Not sure if the food didn't agree with me, too much food, not enough fluid to go with it or any combo of the above. Very slowly the pain is going away.

that sucks. I know this problem and I have it lot of times at work, cause of our stupid cafeteria. I'm not sure why...I guess, it's something (spices?!) in the food.

Ja, aber ich krieg die wegen der Einstufung der Berufsjahre. Also nur noch nächstes Jahr eine Erhöhung und dann wars das. Danach muss ich verhandeln.

Tja.. Die Verhandlungen.... muss ich auch ma sehen nächstes Jahr. (Bei der Vertragsverlängerung)

That's the problem with meals, they can be larger than you think.
Hopefully it gets better. And make sure the eye isn't bigger than the stomach next time!

You know what it's like being brought up to finish what's on your plate right? It's so far drilled into my values that it's almost OCD
