Sigh, I was called to the lounge room to watch a bit of Spicks and Specks (an Australian music TV quizz show) because a chosen topic to be quizzed on was Metal. Having said that, the only other "metal" that I've ever seen on the show is a guest spot by Steve Hughes, a guest spot by some english metal comedian (?) fellow dude who made the best Cradle of Filth joke ever, and random questions about Nightwish's Nemo clip that they made everyone watch.
So anyway, the questions couldn't have been more simple. Even Myf got the second question right before the question was fully answered (she's the git who thought Soilwork was a Norwegian Black Metal band).

How disappointing :(

So, this is the short-ish version of how last night went:
- got home from the gym, my mate was already there, got our stuff together and headed for the barbecue area near my place...Plan A
- There were no lights anywhere, so I suggested another barbecue area I knew of not much further away...Plan B
- There were lights at the second joint, but after barely browning one side of the sausages the "hotplate" could have barely boiled water. It was also very windy and a little chilly
- Gave up on that idea, packed up the half-cooked onions and sausages, dranks our drinks and went back home to cook it on the kitchen stove...Plan C

WHY WASN'T THAT PLAN A????

Once dinner was cooked (about an hour and a half later) it was pretty epic. The kangaroo steak was fucking amazing. Everything on the plate was amazing. It was so good I cooked up some left-over steak for dinner and I'm having the last steak tomorrow. I will be so sad when I run out of Skippy :(

I never got that part about barbeque, but w/e. It shouldn't be too hard to get a kangaroo steak there anyway right? We have kangaroo meat here and we have no idea how the thing even looks like alive.
