Basically I can write in German fairly well, but not so much speaking it.

It's a matter of courage. I know it from Spanish

That much was obvious.

Anyway, I'm terrible in German. A lot of Dutch people actually speak it quite well. I can barely pronounce "ich spreche keine Deutsch".

I used to be somewhat bearable speaking Dutch, but since I've started to learn Spanish, everything got lost

I've also gotten worse at English and even German. I guess my brain can just work with so many languages

Very true. Though I realised that when you find the courage to start speaking, you'll be surprised how much better you can do it than you'd have thought

Yea, it gets hard. I hardly remember any of the Spanish I learned in high school.
