So you can transfer your "sick days" to the year after? Like.. I can hardly do that with normal days off.

Yeah. I'm up to just over 6 weeks now. I can't do that with ADO's/overtime past 38 hours, and they get cranky if I have more than 8 weeks of holidays...hence the whole working for 2 years and taking them pretty much all at once so I can go back to Europe idea :p

I can't do that with ADO at all and only 10 days in general.

Also if I have 0 sick days for 3 years in a row I still don't get anything compared to someone who's been away for 4 months with not all that serious injuries.

And you can stay in Europe for a long time then. :)

So your having French exams about the French language or... ?

Well, to put it this way, I'm working in Namur, French speaking Belgium. As I'm Dutch (thus Dutch speaking) I have to do the exams in the 2nd national language. (the other is my native by chance :D)
Since it's French, it'll be in French (again).

I did that 4 years ago, but that exam isn't valid here. :(

Don't forget that in NL there's no such thinig as "sick holiday", but just sick leave.

Your employer wants it to be limited in time, (government too btw) but you can take as many days as you want! You're even protected agains firing. No one can fire you while you're on sick leave!

Yes and no, you can lose your job, they have to support you in looking for another one and you partially keep your income. Still, you are protected quite well and can go on sick leave for about 11 months and then work for about a month or so and you'll be fine.
