Well it turns out the "easy" way is literally ten times more expensive(!)

Sounds like a big adventure... For example: when sie takes the ICE in summertime the aircondition often don`t work. And you can`t open the window... and than all the other "funny" things that can happen when you travel by railway ...

Don't jinx me! Now I'm getting flashbacks of getting from Padua to Montebelluna and all the boom gates weren't working, so at every level crossing the train had to stop and the rail guards had to stop traffic.

I actually checked other options but other option would take much more time (like day more both ways) and be maybe 20 euros cheaper so I decided I rather spend that time with my german friend

In flying weren't so damn complicated for disabled people, Id combine it too sometimes. But I am against a compulsory registration and later have no place because the limit has been reached.
