I get 3 weeks , after this year I get a 4th for 10 years on the job. ( union contract )
Probably not a lot to the Europeans but 4 weeks is a sweet deal for me.

Here in the u.s. you can take a whole year off, just don't expect your job to be there when you get back !!

I do. I never take food with me, I go to a (cheap) restaurant.
